Professional Licensing

Authorized Resellers and Authorized Retailers must be able to provide a copy of their valid (non-expired) health professional licensure/certificate/degree. If this documentation expires, Seeking Health will reach out to obtain an updated, current copy of the license. Seeking Health may revoke accounts for Authorized Retailers and Authorized Resellers who are not able to provide this documentation upon request. Seeking Health reserves the right to waive this requirement in its discretion.

In order for Seeking Health to process a wholesale application: applicants must complete the Wholesale Application and submit their:

  1. Medical License/Certificate (if required by law) or proof of student status*
  2. Business License or W9*

Taxation

Orders may be subject to sales tax in accordance with state laws.Authorized Distributors, Authorized Resellers and Authorized Retailers (“Authorized Sellers”) that conduct business in a state that taxes dietary supplements will need to provide a valid resale certificate, or taxes will be calculated and charged on sales orders.It is the Authorized Seller’s responsibility to report any personal purchases made using a tax-exempt wholesale account for consumer use tax.

California Proposition 65

California Proposition 65 ("Prop 65") is a California law that requires companies and establishments to notify California residents about the presence of certain substances, even at extremely low levels, in consumer products. More information about Prop 65 can be found here.

Certain Seeking Health products require the Prop 65 warning when they are sold to customers located in the state of California. It is the Authorized Seller’s responsibility to ensure that all sales to California customers are conducted in compliance with Prop 65.For in-person sales in California, the Prop 65 warning must be provided on a shelf sign or tag or an on-product warning (sticker or label).Additionally, for online sales, Prop 65 requires that the warning (or a clearly marked hyperlink to the warning) be displayed to customers prior to completing the purchase of the product requiring the warning.Prop 65 warnings for Seeking Health products will be provided to you using one or more of the following methods:

  1. On the product label
  2. On the product page on the website, below the description
  3. On your packing slip

If you intend to resell the product to consumers in the state of California, you will need to provide the same type of warning to your customers in order to comply with Prop 65.We suggest that you consult with qualified legal counsel if you do business in the state of California, or if you sell products on the web to customers in the state of California, to ensure that your store, clinic, website, etc. are compliant with Prop 65.Authorized Sellers are required to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to them and their business.

Authorized Seller Return Policy

All claims on damaged or missing product must be made promptly (but in any case no later than 10 days) after receiving your order.Return requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.Authorized Sellers are responsible for their own customers' returns.Please feel free to contact our team for special circumstance returns.

Serious Adverse Event Reporting

Manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements marketed within the United States are required by the FDA to submit all serious adverse event reports related to the use of their dietary supplements.According to the FDA, a "serious adverse event" is an adverse event that:

  • Results in death, a life-threatening experience, inpatient hospitalization (including initial admission to the hospital on an inpatient basis, even if released the same day), a persistent or significant disability or incapacity, or a congenital anomaly or birth defect; or
  • Requires, based on a reasonable medical judgment, a medical or surgical intervention to prevent an outcome described above.

Authorized Sellers are asked to inform Seeking Health of any serious adverse events reported to them by clients or customers as soon as possible so that we can promptly report the event to the FDA and launch an investigation.Please provide the customer or client’s name, contact information, and the name and lot number of the product involved. Advise the client not to throw the product away as it may need to be returned as part of the investigation. Report the event to us at [email protected] or by phone at 800-547-9812.

Seeking Health reserves the right to make changes to these policies at any time. We will an effort to notify you in the event of major policy changes.
